Should Christians do yoga?” This is a question that has been on my mind for quite some time now. Recently I was reading inetics, and I saw a reference to a seminar given by a prominent Christian writer, who is married to the co-owner of the fitness chain Gold’s Gym. The author makes some very interesting comments in the seminar, which really got me thinking. In light of our recent elections, and the current climate in the United States concerning religion and public perception, should Christians do yoga?

“Should Christians do yoga?” This is a question that has been on my mind for quite some time now. The author makes some interesting points in his seminar. He says that we have forgotten what Christ taught us, and how He spoke of cleansing the temple of idols, and eliminating all forms of idol worship. He went on to say that most if not all Christians have forgotten or never really understood the true meaning of the Ten Commandments. He goes on to say that there are many false gods worshiped by Christians, and that they only pretend to honor God in order to serve their will.

After considering this information, I realized that it could be very helpful to have a seminar like this one, where Christians could look at the issue from a different perspective. There are many false gods worshiped by Christians, and yet they claim to follow God. Further, they only pretend to honor God, while doing all that they can to spread false religions. It would be a wakeup call for all Christians to look deeper into what they believe, and use that understanding to help them grow in holiness.
